Vacation Shots

We logged 1500 miles on the minivan! We had a fabulous vacation. Much thanks to Kevin who said, "Hey I think I saved enough money that we could go to the beach." Me, "Really?"

Ethan, Will and Ben were all terrific travelers. Of course, there was very little sleeping in the car. Will finally fell asleep after 5 1/2 hours to Philadelphia. He nodded off the last 20 minutes, but I'm not complaining.

We visited Sesame Place for the day and played on the water slides and in the pool. Ethan and Ben even rode the roller coaster. Afterwards Will cried because he said, "I wanna go Elmo's World again."

Three boys in a sand hole in Cape May, New Jersey.

We climbed 199 steps to the top of the Cape May light house. I walked out on the ledge, saw Grandpa below and screamed......"GRANDPA" only to hear a chorus of "No yelling." Oops. My bad. So what if I was standing under the sign.

We were the only passengers aboard the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad. It was a 45 minute ride. What's the matter people, "Heat Warning" scare you away? Okay, it was a bit hot in the 97 degree weather, but it was well worth it.

After a week at the beach we trekked to Long Island to visit a dear friend from college. We spent Father's Day sailing on Long Island Sound and then Ethan and Ben enjoyed their first ever convertible ride.

We are all happy to be home again, safe and sound, but we sure had fun.
